Harvard College Iranian Association (HCIA) is an officially recognized student group operating under the 501(c)3 non- profit umbrella of Harvard University. HCIA aims to bridge the gap between Iranian and non-Iranian students in the Harvard community by promoting cross-cultural understanding and fostering appreciation of Iranian culture, history, and society.
HCIA’s flagship initiative is the Iranian Gala @Harvard, a forum to honor the achievements of diverse members of the Iranian community. The Gala serves to connect current and future leaders and to engender a greater appreciation of the Persian culture and heritage. |
Harvard Iranian Alumni (HIA) is a Harvard University Shared Interest Group (SIG) dedicated to developing a network among current and future Harvard alumni – from all backgrounds – with an interest in Iranian culture and the Iranian community. As a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, HIA seeks to expand communication, community, and collaboration on issues and initiatives related to Iran and Iranians.
Through the Conference, HIA convenes students, alumni, academics, and professionals to develop the mutual understanding necessary to address many of the pressing and current issues involving Iran and the Iranian community. |
